The 2016 Green Mountain art event is a celebration of the Crocodile River Reserve – where we’ve come from and where we are going. We invite you to craft, sculpt through land-art, paint, and photograph.

Celebrating the Crocodile River Reserve
8 – 11 September 2016
After many years the custodians of the land around the Jukskei, Hennops and Crocodile rivers were recently rewarded for their perseverance and tenacity with the area acquiring its formal Reserve status. The Green Mountain organisation explores and facilitates conversations between man and nature, arts and science, head and heart.
Explore the area and its history through sound and indigenous music, ancient stories and poetry. The land offers a unique recreational space for Gauteng residents to unwind, rest and partake in environmentally aware activities. Come and join us as we celebrate both the journey to official reserve status and speculate, create and share in ideas for the future of this wonderful space.
